Doogie was my first crush ever (never cared for Vinnie and it shows my sensibilities lol) and I'm pretty sure he's still the basis for what I look for in a man. (Not the 16 years old part, though, heh.) Though I do feel that if I watched it again now, I would ship it and that makes me feel like I'd be taking a bug dump all over my childhood.
