Re: OTPs or Favorite Characters

Melkor and Sauron. Somehow this ship has nearly everything I've always loved in a ship. (Really) long-lasting relationship. Complex characters. Villains. I love them because while they aren't canon, I can look at canon and interpret the characters and easily see them being together. They are interesting to me because they are both horrible people and yet they love each other (at least how I interpret them). I used to be way into things like Lucius/Narcissa. Just, the idea that villains can love and can be horrible to everyone else but have the people they do care about interests me.

And especially with these two, just the way their personalities mesh. The way they share power. The way they both work so much better together. They way they learn from each other.

I have so many feelings about these two. They've kind of become my sole OTP. I have plenty of other things I ship in plenty of fandoms. But these two just are my obsession.
