Have you tried any non-U.S. law shows?

I think the only one I've tried is Law and Order: UK and I didn't love it. Do you have any recs?

Jumping in to rec some Australian ones: Crownies, Janet King (a spin-off with a character from Crownies), Rake, Newton's Law (which I haven't seen but my friend liked).

They're dramatised and they are more about the personal lives of the characters than the L&O procedural episode format. If you don't have patience with self-destructive and ridiculous main characters, Cleaver (Rake) will probably not be your cup of tea, but it is sometimes very tongue in cheek about our stupider laws and courtroom rules - apparently there's a US version now? But I probably wouldn't watch it because I can't see him played by anyone but Richard.

Janet is my fave because she's a boss (and she's gay!) and she generally has no time for other people's shit.
