Exactly. I'd rather have a small house and then spend the money to line it with bookshelves and buy books to fill them.

Hell, the house I live in now is small and I still almost never use the living or dining rooms so they feel like a waste of space. I don't see the point in having more rooms than you're actually going to use (with the exception of a guest bedroom, but even that can be used for other purposes when you don't have guests over). I mean, you still have to clean them, and they add to your heating/cooling bill, so what's the point?
