For the most part I agree. I just wish they'd kept Ryo's realization in the end intact.

Haven't watched the show yet so idk how good it is, but I'd imagine Go Nagai fans can at least respect Yuasa's directing, even if they don't agree with you?

I've seen half of Crybaby and am halfway through my manga rereread and I can't agree, sorry. The show has some good points though - I loved the ending of Silene's fight better than in the original and Akira turning into Devilman for the first time was awesome, for example, but otherwise just...no.

Your head's fine where it is though, hope you won't have problems in case you ever decide to speak up your mind.

Considering how many times Go Nagai has reworked that concept, I don't think he'd object to that kind of opinion.

Don't worry, from what I've seen a lot of people find it to be an entertaining adaptation. So your head is safe.

That's a perfectly fine opinion, and in either case both are great.
