I am strongly considering calling in sick to work tomorrow. I have a cold, but I would mostly call in because we are going to get snow. It isn't even a lot. 2-5 inches over tonight and tomorrow. I get very anxious driving in the snow and wouldn't look forward to having to do it twice in one day.

It's been almost two years since the last time I called in sick (I had the flu then) and I feel like I kind of deserve this.

I called in sick on Wednesday because it was raining and my car was in the shop.

I mean, yes, I was having a flare of a chronic illness, but it was pretty mild and normally I would have just pushed through it. But standing out in the cold and the wet waiting for the next train and bus, and having to stand sardined in with a bunch of people, and fight my way to the door? Nope.
