based on the non-activity of a pseud?

Maybe off-line life just got overwhelming.

Or maybe on-line life got overwhelming. People do die, but there are lots of other possible reasons for why there's no activity.

I hope that's not the case, OP. If it makes you feel any better, there are lots and lots of reasons why people go quiet. I've done it myself without really meaning to. Life gets busy, and I have some issues with depression. Time gets away from you, and then the longer you're gone complicates matters. I felt guilty about not being active... which led me to avoid being active even more. It wasn't rational, but there you have it.

I don't know this person or if you're only assuming this because of that specific account but sometimes people drop accounts and get whole new ones to start fresh. Or they just have big change in their life that doesn't allow them to use the internet so much.

If this person is a friend of yours then I can understand if you are worried, but if it's just some stranger then it's unlikely they would have informed you if they were leaving for good.

Same, but honestly I think they just got tired of being a BNF/of their fandoms aor got a publishing deal. Really REALLY wish they hadn't pulled all theirs works without a word, though!

I have an AO3 account that I only use for subscribing, commenting and leaving kudos. To everybody else who comes across it, it looks as deserted as the one in your screencap.
