Stuffing. It was always my favorite part of the Thanksgiving dinner, so even though I don't eat turkey anymore I still love stuffing. I can't make it as good as my mom did though.

Sick food is chicken soup, the shitty Campbell's canned stuff. I lose my sense of taste when I'm sick, so it's not really worth the good stuff. Sometimes I'll mix in ginger powder and minced garlic to anti-inflammatory it up a bit.

I can't eat when I'm well and truly upset, but if it's just a bad day there's a local Italian deli that I like to get sandwiches from. They have fantastic crusty bread, and their house giardiniera is something I could probably get a tub of and start eating. I'd have the worst kind of tummy ache after, but whatever. The pickled carrots are worth it.

Herb tea, oranges, and candied ginger if I'm getting a cold, plus brown rice and fake chicken (I'm vegetarian) soup with lots of ginger, garlic, and hot pepper if a virus really kicks my ass.

Soup soup and soup. Minestrone is the best. Ginger ale is my go-to drink for an upset stomach.
