Yeah, ia. They have a few covers that are really great, but overall... yeah. Twee, smug, skipping the good parts of the songs, etc.

Plus a lot of their stuff just frankly isn't very good. A lot of the covers are supposed to be specific genres but the instrumentation and arrangements are so samey that there's very little difference between "PMJ 1930s Jazz" and "PMJ 1960s Funk". PMJ's version of both is ragtime piano with some brass. And can't forget the singers who inevitably go way too far making it sound "old timey".
