If I ever accidentally step on my cats tails or trip over them in the dark I feel so, so bad. I'm sorry my fuzzy bbs I didn't mean it. :(

Also saying no to people. I'm much better than I was a few years ago at not feeling like I'd done something horrifically wrong for refusing someone, but the twinge of guilt is still there a little.

Oh god, the saying no thing. It's taken me ten years at this job to even OCCASIONALLY say no to covering or switching with someone, because I feel like if I don't have a good reason (and I don't want to is not a good reason in my mind) I shouldn't say no...

I remember being an exceptionally clumsy 10-year old and failing to notice the tip of my cat's tail getting caught in the door as it shut while I was carrying her. She did what any scared and hurting cat would do and shredded my hand. I was in floods of tears while getting bandaged up and my mother said I "must be in a lot of pain," I wasn't, my hand went numb, I was just feeling so guilty about how my favourite cat was cowering behind the oven and terrified of me. :( I felt so awful.

Still have two puncture scars between my fingers where she bit me and it makes me smile (even thought it wasn't a nice incident) because it makes me think of her and she was one badass kitty, who quickly came out from behind the oven to try and lick my hand better. :>
