also I'll admit to some irritation when I see people talking about how chain restaurants are awful and why do people not go to smaller local restaurants not realizing that not everybody lives in a big city filled with a ton of small specialized restaurants, to say nothing about price

I do think that we should keep in mind, however, that while this is true, it's kind of a, you know, bad thing about society that we should find outrageous and wrong
