Me too bud, absolutely! I still think there was a darker story intended for that film that probably got edited away by the higher ups or something.

I have mixed feelings about this one because I love the fact that something like this is animated and would like it to stay that way.

That would be pretty cool, but I love my animated movies as is. Especially if the majority of it is 2D with a few /reasonable number of CGI effects (as this movie had).

Sidebar: the guy reminds me a bit of Dmitri from Anastasia...

that's because Bluth only has two male faces he can animate, Young Adventurer and Old Slightly Goofy Mentor. But damn if he doesn't know it and use it consistently
