Same. I have one friend that I talk to every day (in the sense that our chatbox is always there and we like, talk about what we're doing/our day etc), but once people fall out of my life (ie past HS, college, ex coworkers etc) I never talk to them.

I think more because they were friends of convenience at that stage in my life than actual... "we're friends because we want to be"? If that makes sense.
