Lol, sex toys are different from sex dolls though. There's a difference between owning like a fleshlight versus owning an actual fake person that you bang. I'm sure plenty of the former get dates, the latter are just kind of creepy on a similar level to the bronies who fuck fluttershy plushies. It's the anthropomorphization factor that's unsettling.

"sex toys are different from sex dolls though"

Are they?

"There's a difference between owning like a fleshlight versus owning an actual fake person that you bang"

Is there? Please elaborate, because based on the rest of your comment, it seems like the difference is in how you perceive those people. So go on, tell me the empirical value difference between a sex toy shaped like a body part and a sex to shaped like the rest of the body?

Degree. Much like the difference between having a glass of wine with dinner every night versus having a fifth of Captain Morgan with dinner every night. The one suggests you take an interest in the matter, the other suggests an obsessiveness which goes a bit beyond

+1

It's not a man vs women thing either - men can use dildos or a flesh light and I wouldn't think it's creepy and women could have some hawt dood looking sex doll and I would be creeped out. Not everything is about gender.

Yeah, I kind of got to agree. I don't necessarily think it's Wrong to own and use a sex doll, but I would personally choose not to date/hook up with someone if I knew the did.
