Really? Jessica Jones, Pepper, Wanda, Peggy, and Natasha are all great and well rounded. Then you have characters like Valkyrie, Jane, Hope, and Darcy as supporting characters.

Pepper's been absent a bunch of movies, Natasha had all that AoU bullshit, JJ is pretty awesome but isn't in the films so that kind of automatically puts her B-list, Wanda is cool but I don't recall her getting much character development in Civil War.

Jane has basically been ditched in the Thor films, or did she return in Ragnarok? I haven't seen it yet. I likewise can't speak to Valkyrie. I personally don't think Darcy is a particularly interesting character, she mostly quips one-liners. And honestly, I don't remember who Hope is.

The MCU isn't perfect, but I think you're kind of reaching.

Pepper's only been noticeably absent from AoU and Civil War. That's not "a bunch." And frankly as much as I like Pepper there was no reason for her to be in either one, and no reason for Marvel to pay millions of dollars to Paltrow for some micro-scene in two movies which already had too many characters and plotlines as-is.

Natasha and Darcy are solely down to personal opinion. I loved Darcy and she's a fandom darling so clearly a lot of other people did, too. And I liked Natasha's story in AoU and she's had a big role throughout the MCU. Jane wasn't even close to "ditched" in Thor 1+2, she was a key character in both. She's not in Ragnarok bc Portman didn't want to come back, and holding Marvel accountable for that is pretty lame. I thought Valkyrie was boring af, but she was also a major character and seems to be very popular. Not to mention Ragnarok gave us Hela as the Big Bad.

Wanda hasn't got much screen time since AoU, but it's not like she's alone in that. Hawkeye and Vision haven't gotten a lot of screen time either. Audiences aren't as familiar with their characters and giving them scenes takes away time from fan favorites.

Peggy, Jessica Jones, and all the SHIELD girls seem pretty damn popular, too, ime. As does Karen and whoever else is in the newer MCU shows.

And now Black Panther looks like it has a lot of women in the supporting cast, and Ant-Man and the Wasp is coming out soon (that's Hope), along with Captain Marvel.

And honestly, I don't remember who Hope is. From Ant-Man. Hope van Dyne, soon to be the Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
