I think my favorites are Farmer Boy (I loved her description of food), Little House on the Prairie (the OG!), and These Happy Golden Years (I love watching Laura learn how to be a teacher).

Ha, yes, those are good ones, too. I was always a bit impatient with LHotP as a kid, because it made me think of the TV show, which i didn't much like. Golden Years *is* good, but it always made me sad, because i felt like Laura didn't really want to be married.

I mean - i'm sure she did, but as a kid, it didn't feel right. That and her friend Ida being all nervous and crying made me feel like it was a bad thing! Heh.

Ah, I never actually watched the show. I've seen clips from it and did not like it.

I watched it when i was a kid, because - what else was i gonna watch? It was so *not* the books, it just made me mad. But i still watched.
