Not only do I totally dig the concept, I now want to make a relationship flowchart just to lay out how all the consoles would feel about each other.

...You could probably consider it a fandom, really - I mean, shit, those PC/Mac commercials have a fandom. (Maybe that could BE the fandom? :|9)

Haah, I'm not even sure where all the consoles would fit in. Is DS Wii's brother/sister? Twins for the two screens? And rival of PSP? And what about the N-Gage, or are we pretending that didn't happen? Dreamcast the bitter older one who lost success? And what about PC gaming? The brilliant elitist loner?

...I had my suspicions about PC/Mac, but didn't actually know for sure. That makes me feel a LITTLE better about myself.

We were discussing this - and by "we" I mean our RP - and we figured that the Wii would be some kind of friendly Japanese girl who was also a ninja. Dreamcast would probably be like one of those guys who pretends they're still cool enough to hang out with college kids when they're 30, and you know there's something there, but they've lost a little bit of an edge somewhere along the way. PC Gaming would be the nerd among the consoles, no doubt. Brilliant, I dunno ;P

Obviously the Super Nintendo and the Genesis are the bitter old ones bitching about how it was better back in their day. (Atari can come too.)

Man, second I saw those commercials, I knew I had to check. There's an LJ community for Mac/PC, even, and there's even fanart of them on Y-Gallery and dA.
