123 - Fuck Dubs. I forced myself to sit through one dub, and never again. I'd sooner watch it raw and then read a synopsis.

127 - Wow, an Ayatsuri Sakon secret! I don't know who she is (and I can't find any episodes past 14 that will work for me), so I can't love/hate her (unless she did show up in those first few episodes and I don't remember her).

130 - There's a lot of people who look prettier when they age.

148 - I loved that episode!

167 - Oooh I hate "Chappie" and "Ficcie". I also can't stand "Eppie" or "Eppy" (though I find myself using "Epi" sometimes). Really, cut that shit the fuck out! I could see if the words were shorter, but damn. Chappie vs. Chapter - that's the same damn amount of letters ~~and that's terrible~~! Ficcie vs. Fiction - a one letter difference! Even better? Fic.

Still, if the fic is extraordinarily good, I can forgive it. But it makes me cringe every time.

I dunno, man, I kind of flip flop over the whole dubbing thing. It's best to take it on a case by case basis, really. I generally try something in Japanese first, and if it irritates the hell out of me, I'll try the dub. I'd rather stick knitting needles in my ears than watch the Naruto dub, but I found the Japanese voicing of Quatre and Goku far too grating and unbearable to listen to in the original Japanese forms of Gundam Wing and Saiyuki. And what do you know, I actually liked the Saiyuki dub. I don't think it's fair to judge them all on one crappy dub. Obviously, if it was dubbed/diluted for a kiddie audience, that's a different matter entirely.

The quality of dubbing really is on a case-by-case basis, you know. Some, like Pet Shop of Horrors and Gravitation, suck. Some, like Yami no Matsuei or Lain or Kenshin, are good enough, but not quite as good as the Japanese when it comes to voices fitting the characters. Some, like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun and Wolf's Rain, are AMAZING, and I could happily never hear them in Japanese and be just fine. ... And some like Angel Sanctuary were laughably bad, but somehow the original Japanese managed to be even worse. Orz.

For me, Digimon and Pokemon are two of the ones that, okay, I like both versions, and I may have ended up preferring the Japanese once I heard their voices. But it wasn't bad, especially not for a kid's show, and man. My childhood. My first loves. XD How can I slam that? (Plus: Mona Marshall kajhsfaf. ♥)
