Happy Calming TV Series

(Anonymous) 2018-01-26 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
What are some low-drama, comfy TV series you like? Available on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon would be ideal, but don't feel limited to that.

I have no idea where it's available except on DVD and PBS at odd times, but As Time Goes By is a wonderful gentle British comedy, starring Judi Dench.

Definitely Great British bake off, though I think it's called "The Great British Baking Show" on Netflix.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. Midsomer Murders. Cranford.

Bulk Baking Ingredients?

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2018-01-26 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Anyone on here buy baking ingredients (or ingredients in general) online? I need a huge bag of chocolate chips.

I sometimes buy coffee and extracts on Amazon.

But they have a 72oz bag of Nestlé's for $16.48, which seems like a fair price - https://www.amazon.com/Nestle-Chocolate-Semi-Sweet-Morsels-oz/dp/B001C1MCHK/ref=pd_sbs_325_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001C1MCHK&pd_rd_r=7A5YEAEJV9D0K81B060M&pd_rd_w=rkpTC&pd_rd_wg=8yYyg&psc=1&refRID=7A5YEAEJV9D0K81B060M

I buy food stuff on Amazon too and generally feel the quality is good.

I also buy Passover ingredients online every year, and chocolate chips seem to ship fine, if that helps.

FWIW, Sam's Club and Costco should have big bags, too. Or GFS, if you have any of those near you.

What is says about. Just some really good visuals (decent plot is good, but not required).
