I think it's possible to buy PS Lightroom, but I'm not sure what functionality that program has. (I have it but I haven't used it, sorry.) You might be able to track down a disc copy of an older version but they were about $1k new and I'm sure they're still stupidly expensive.

Honestly the subscription is worth it. I was dubious but I've been happy with it. The cheapest one is $10/mo and you only have to be online to reverify like once a month or something. The program is actually permanently on your computer, just like usual. It's so much cheaper than buying the new software every time they release a new version.

Thanks for the input. I hate the idea of subscriptions, but if the older version is still expensive, maybe it really is more affordable.
