I'm not sure how much they knew. Most TV presenters are pretty clueless when it comes to the actual mechanics of the show. They're really there as talking heads, and 'executive producer' is usually a vanity credit. The same goes for Richard & Judy.

Torchwood scared me more there then when it TRIES.

Well, I can vouche for the fact that I'm emotionally stable (enough), and when it comes to reality I rarely cry at all, but when it comes to fandom, for some reason, I have no walls whatsoever. I cry a lot over my fandoms. ...Well, when they're sad, of course. I don't just burst into tears just 'cause my favourite TV show is on. XD;

159. I'm totally with you on this one, OP. ADA Cabot was freaking amazing and I was heartbroken when she left. I don't mind Novak, but she just never seemed as strong in her role as Cabot was. I was sad to see Novak go too, but Cabot is always going to be my favorite.

That episode is Skin Deep, episode 2x13. The girl was a teen model, and fainted on the catwalk after spazzing and punching another model in the jaw. I went "AARG!" and covered my eyes. XD And yeah, the pilot made me squeemish, too. I think it's funny that I'm not able to watch scenes like that, but when watching them vomit blood all over their chests, I don't even blink.

Good point; you're right, I accidentally misinterpreted. And that's also valid; lurk vs communicating can be a weird thing to decide, since there's the argument "I'm too shy to comment." But there's that pocket where it's rather like the myspace phenomenon: more "friends" listed apparently means something, rather than someone you've actually connected with or even for a specific moment/fandom. Even when I leave fandoms I still keep tabs because I met them being interested in who they are than a bulk number.

He was the only reason I kept playing Dirge of Cerberus. :( For real.

None of my friends understand. They prefer Harry. Harry isn't ugly, but I find Snape and Lucius much more appealing. My friends think it's weird because they're old(er). I think out of all of the guys, though, I find Lucius the most attractive. And I also loove Jason Isaacs (Lucius) as Captain Hook!

106. I hear ya! I tend to view Naruto and Sasuke as brothers with Sakura as a younger sister, and I think it's important for the three of them to have strong platonic bonds. I feel more passionate about Naruto and Sasuke's relationship as rivals to comrades to friends to enemies, and since both of them lack familial love it just feels more appropriate that they come together as brothers.

Of course, I could still see them fooling around and experimenting like young boys do, but I prefer that it not develop into a romantic relationship.

111. Same fandoms, ALMOST the same story. I absolutely LOVE fics that depict the Sand Siblings interacting with one another, especially when it's Temari or Kankurou caring for, comforting, protecting Gaara. Oh man, when they get defensive of Gaara it just makes me so happy inside. Their effort to be a family after everything that's happened is just so sweet. In FMA, I enjoy a good parental!Roy fic and Ed and Al's relationship, gen or otherwise, has always been touching for me.
