109. People hate her?! I mean, I get the complaints about Sapphire and snarky mother-in-laws in general, but people hate the character?!



... it can only be raw and bitter jealousy of her elegance, beauty, and self-possession. Not to mention terror of her sharp tongue. (I was kind of hoping she'd get to give ol' blue eye a piece of her mind. >:-)

I don't...HATE her. But I have no warmth for her whatsoever. She was just such a shrew for so long and set them up, not trusting her daughter's instincts. I know, that's moms for ya. But she personally rubbed me pretty wrong. And she just seems to have a perpetual case of bitchface.

Hahah excuse my bad phrasing. I just meant the overprotectiveness even if your kid thinks they have it under control. The parental instinct to protect them.

I didn't mean that all moms are shews and all that. Haha that'll teach me not to sleep.
