106. asfkhsak something about the tone of this secret just puts me off. It IS possible to like two male characters as just friends instead of a slash pairing, you know. You're not some persecuted fan. And there are a lot better reactions to other people doing something they enjoy, as opposed to doing what you want them to, other than "you guys are ruining it for me!" I-in summary I think I get what you're SAYING but the way you said it is kind of grating. "I don't like this as a pairing, just as friends, but I could never say that and all the people who ship it are ruining canon for me!" is probably true sometimes but GAH it sounds cliche and whiny as all hell most of the time.

Geez, seriously, people, it's one thing to not like something that's on the whole very popular, but when you start going "I don't see how ANYONE can like this!" you're just being opinionated. Some of us just enjoy different things than you do. It shouldn't be a big shocker, at this point. As for the last, it's just the style of movie he does. *shrugs* I don't personally like it, but there are far "worse" offenders (coughStevenSegalcough).

124. Uh... so, just because you were in a similar situation, that automatically means that other people can't interpret an entirely seperate situation differently? You are not Phoenix. "Your Edgeworth" is not Edgeworth. It's not personal. Subtext =/= canon and it doesn't even mean proof. It's subtext. Totally innocent things can have subtext. Put the two together and what do we get? Fans like a pairing that is only vaguely connected to you for scenes and actions that can either be taken as a very strong friendship/brotherly bond or as romantic love and need, and like looking at it as the latter. In your case, it's the former. Good times for both sides, right?
