At first I was weirded out, but the show itself is so strange that now I think it might be odder if the fandom wasn't a bit weird.

The last time someone posted a secret about woobie Dennis, I compared woobie Cartman. I was informed that Dennis is worse than Cartman.

Eh, 50/50. Dennis has more previous, but he's been at it for longer. Dennis hasn't arranged the killing and cannibalisation of anyone yet, tho.

I agree completely. And people jumping on any bit of evidence that Dennis isn't a complete sociopath and waving it around as if it exonerates him somehow.

Besides the fact that I find it fucked up that they're glossing over totally abhorrent behavior, they're just taking away everything that makes him entertaining. Dennis is funny because he's a total narcissistic psycho. What's even left of his character when you take those things away?

The iasip fandom is so hypocritical. The same people who woobify a rapist will then clutch their pearls if someone writes DeeDennis or a rape fic.

I agree, but then again, I'm under no delusions that the show isn't about trash people.

I mean it's probably in the running for my favorite tv show ever, but still, trash people.
