Yeah this. I've been on both sides of that dynamic. So has my partner (not with each other, thank Gods). Some of the worst times was sexual assault. We both came to the conclusion that sucked well before this story broke.

Some of the Asari apologia is bullshit though. Sex shouldn't be a game of meeting minimal legal requirements, ideally both people should walk away better and happier than they started. If you have to chase your partner around the apartment, maybe it's time to check in, chill out, crack open a beer, and talk a bit.
