(Anonymous) 2018-01-27 03:24 am (UTC)(link)I really liked Shaun of the Dead until the last 10 minutes, it was an abrupt tonal shift that didn't work for me, then capped it all off with a generic happily ever after with the fat friend as a zombie pet. I liked Hot Fuzz waaay more. However SotD did have some clever moments, the record throwing scene is great.

(Anonymous) 2018-01-27 05:05 am (UTC)(link)Yeah, I do get what you mean about Shaun of the Dead. But the record throwing was really funny. Also, the issues with the fences. And I don't know why, but the weird meet-up with the other group just stuck with me. I guess I found that sublimely absurd.
