No, going up to someone's apartment isn't carte blanche consent for sex...letting someone go down on you isn't consent for anything else

Of course it's not, but what it IS is a nonverbal cue that maybe you might be down for sex. If that positive non-verbal cue is not countered with equally strong negative non-verbal cues to stop then there's no winning here.

Gods that sounds both joyless and artless to treat intercourse as a foregone conclusion and skip the exploration. Half the time people don't really know what they want for desert before sampling the appetizers.

And y'all stereotype queers as lacking in romance. Some of my best dates ended with talking about scifi and making out on the couch.
