I mean it's not like his face is falling off. He's just ugly. So I don't see how it's a cautionary tale about the "dangers" of too much plastic surgery. Unless I missed something and he's been in and out of the hospital with complications.

I'm guessing that picture's about 20-30 years old, though? It's a rare man who looks as handsome at 65 as he did at 35.
I mean, yeah, also terrible plastic surgery doesn't help.

The reason he got plastic surgery in the first place is because he wrecked his looks with drugs and alcohol (he became so notorious for his substance abuse back in the 80s that it ruined his career almost completely; the movie The Wrestler was a big comeback for him). I understand going overboard with plastic surgery but in his case the underlying issue was substance abuse rather than just plain old vanity (or not knowing when or how to stop with surgical procedures).

He started boxing (like serious boxing) and turns out getting hit in the face messes it up.

Renée Zellweger is the actor that makes me so sad that she ruined her looks with plastic surgery. She is only in her 40s. She was aging very nicely and was retaining her beauty. But she went and got a train wreck of a new face. She looks very fake now. It's a shame.
