I don't remember any parallels drawn in that sense at all though? Let alone "blatant" ones. I mean, I get the wishful thinking that lends itself to projection and reading too much into something (I am more of a Sirius/Remus fan personally), but ya gotta remember that just because you want something to mean something, doesn't mean it does.

There are undeniably things about the presentation of a few of the characters, most obviously Remus, that are also closely tied to a lot of narratives about gay people.

That doesn't mean that they're definitively gay, and it certainly doesn't mean that JKR intended anything like that. But those things are there in the text - it's not projecting, or reading too much, or wishful thinking to notice the things that are there, and then how you choose to interpret those elements is your own choice.

Remus married a woman and had a child with her.

It is true that the werewolf thing was intended as a metaphor for being gay (or was it aids? One of those, possibly both) in the sense that it was something that got unnecessary prejudice and had therefore to be hidden because it would ruin lupin's career. But that doesn't mean that Sirius had a crush on James. Or that lupin, who married the very female tonks and had a kid with her, was actually supposed to be gay.
