Pffft hahahaha. GD IT WOMAN, THIS IS A STICKUP. GIVE ME YOUR DAMN BIKE. This movie makes Cage's character seem like the angriest, most randomly violent guy in the world. XD

I have to wonder, though, how LaBute ever managed to think that "giving the film a feminist slant" could be accomplished by making all the women in the movie part of a delusional murdering psychopathic cult. THAT'S NOT A GOOD PORTRAYAL, OKAY.

I want one of that cult's festivals to involve candy so he can steal it from their children. And then punch anyone who tries to give him an apple (lol irony!).

Boy, is my face red. Turns out this movie was a comedy the whole time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_mW8mBzmHo&feature=related). In that case, it's a good thing it got remade, because the new one is a lot funnier. Like the Brady Bunch movies versus that old show!

I'm not making any judgments on it, I'm just saying that I was wary about trying it out in the first place. Just not my cup of tea. The story looked great and all, but I just didn't like it. Even if it did have pr0n, I probably wouldn't have been able to hold out for long. :P I'm a shallow person. I acknowledge this.

Well I haven't played this game (if it's what I think it is, The World Ends With You) only because Square Enix screws me over every single fucking time I buy game. I for one play games for the gameplay and not really the story. The only videos games that I bought only because their storylines appealed to me were the Legend of Zelda games.

And that comment wasn't particularly directed at the OP, but rather people who say things like that in general.

That I can understand- I can see gamers being into it for the gameplay, it's just that like I said, I'm more of a story-oriented person and not a real gamer, so. XD And yeah, that's The World Ends With You! I feel... pretty safe recommending it? Because the gameplay really was a blast, for me anyway. A lot of it sounded more difficult or lame than it ended up being. Attacking with the stylus, split-screen fighting, feeding and clothing the characters to up their stats, etc- all of that ended up being really fun. But again, I'm not a major gamer, so it might not be your cup of tea. XD I recommend like... borrowing it or playing a little bit of someone else's copy to see if you like it.

Yeah, I can see where that'd get tiring eventually. I think most of us who say that probably are the ones who are in it for the stories, though. It's just a personal thing with me: if a game has awesome gameplay but a suck story, I might play it but it won't really hold my interest, but if it has a meh gameplay system that I can nonetheless operate and an awesome story, I'll definitely try it out. I think the best thing is to have a good balance when possible. =X

Yeah, I saw a trailer for it and I was surprised to find myself wanting it. From the looks of it it was DDR...ish. Vaguely. But yeah, it did look different from the route Square Enix goes on most of the time. Too bad my Nintendo DS has been reduced to a pile of wires. I only know is that I'm playing Phoenix Wright when I get a new one just to see what the big deal is.

I agree with you that it's better to have balance then actually SEARCH for conflict on the player's end, lolz.

I just ignore them. Then again, after an anime marathon lately, I've found myself wanting to say "demo" a lot. I've never learned Japanese and don't really plan to, so I can only guess from the subs that it means something along the lines of "but". I find it amusing that all my favourite shows use the word "but" so often that it actually filtered into my brain :) ... ... (thankfully, I'm still controlling it. Might slip out one day, though)

Yeah, I mean, it's like people think that it's the interest they have that makes them act this way. Really, they are as batshit in every aspect of their lives, not just when it comes to fandom. XD

What universe do you live in? The only Disney movie all the guys I grew up with and all the guys I've met since watched was Aladdin, which has a male lead. "Princess movies are for girls" is something I was told as an adult woman by a supposedly adult male.

Lol at your secret. Though, I have to admit to being impressed that she actually got away with the unspeakable pile of rubbish that was DH - especially in the wake of Half-Baked Plot - and didn't spontaneously combust or something for being such a messer.

My love for movies is pretty intense, people know that I love to watch and more importantly share them. I do understand though when people don't like them. It took me a while to get used to older movies until I actually gave them a chance.

Almost a secret but because I watched It's a Wonderful Life when I was a little girl, I've had a crush on Jimmy almost my entire life.

Alright this was me who posted the secret and I'm coming out to say HELL YES. It's terrible but I skip all of the anime/manga/tv show/movie secrets unless it's a classic movie.
