129. Whoa, usually I pick up on things like that but yeah...I agree. I feel the same way about Gainax or hell a lot of animation companies. I just wish that somebody would take the 'risk' and have a main character who's a woman.

Am I the only one who LIKED both the Beast and his princely form?

Honestly, I've seen uglier mugs drawn and in real life in my day and the Beast prince form aint it! If it's just some joke I don't get, don't answer me I'll figure it out.

The state of it all is pathetic. There's this show on Jetix called Oban Star Racers with a female protagonist. There's still some gender stereotyping and all, but she's a really strong character. Did I mention that it's an action sci-fi racing series? The guy who made it had to go to like ten different companies to find one who'd greenlight it because no one would take the chance on a girl action hero.

That's what happened with that? I thought they were just having financial problems in general.

That's what I've read everywhere I've looked. No one wants a girl hero in an action series because they think that boys don't care about girl heroes and girls don't watch action. Assholes.
