If you love the book and the 1995 series, then yes, be wary. A lot of people like the 2005 version, but it's heavily rewritten to sound more "modern" and a lot less like Jane Austen. Like this particular scene, the phrasing is changed and much of the nuance is lost. The writer does NOT trust the audience to "get" the subtleties of Austen's work and wit and feels like it needs to spelled out to viewers. It's not that it's terrible as a period film per se, it's just that it's not really Pride and Prejudice.
