please stop defending child rapists. please. i'm not trolling or exaggerating in any way: you are defending child rapists and people who consume child pornography, which directly benefits and emboldens child rapists. please stop. i'm begging you.

I am not defending them. I literally said there is no excuse for what the child rapist did. If you want to ignore that fact, that's on you.

I can understand how wanting to get to the truth of the matter might be seen as defending a child rapist, but it isn't. The truth isn't always pleasant, but just because it isn't pleasant doesn't mean it isn't worth knowing. It's so easy to separate people into humans and monsters, but the problem with "he was a monster, end of story" is that it ignores the fact that children are not born monsters. If you're not interested in the reason why someone is a monster, then certainly, that's your right. But I'm more interested in the story because I want to know if there's anything to look out for next time. What I'm not interested in is simply being content with the fact that a child porn viewer killed himself, because that's not going to stop the next guy from hurting someone else.
