Or what have been some of your worst coworkers.

I hate loud people in general but it is even worse when they are your co-workers. I share a wall with a loud coworker. Literally every word out of her mouth is a shout. It is especially annoying in the morning.

OH GOD. YES. My newest co-worker has zero chill. She's incredibly happy and bubbly, which makes for a fantastic working environment emotionally, but I had to buy noise cancelling headphones. Worth it, because better to have co-workers who get along than who don't, after putting up with the latter for far too long, but every now and then I'd really like to gag her.

At least is she was happy, it'd be easier to bear. Instead she is just ALWAYS TALKING AS IF SHE IS TRYING TO GET THE ATTENTION OF SOMEONE ACROSS THE BUILDING.

I have two of these people, and they like to talk about politics.

So far, none of that at my job. Which is good because I am in Oklahoma so I bet some support Trump. And I'd really like to not hate my co-workers.

The co-worker who was incontinent was the worst, because she didn't exactly keep track of her incontinence if you get my drift. It probably wasn't through any fault of her own, but as far as being stuck in a small office with someone goes...

A co-worker who left last year had a massive chip on her shoulder for her last six months of employment because she, as someone with less than a year of experience in her field, was making less than someone who came on with fifteen years of experience. The office was very tense. It was an incredibly uncomfortable six months. (For the record, they both worked on payroll, so knowing what people make is kinda par for the course. Not professional to look at and then confront a co-worker about it, but... re: chip on her shoulder)

A lot of my coworkers are college students from rich families who pay their rent and stuff, and they are ALWAYS going on about how they don't need the job... and its like, thanks, I do need this job. It shouldn't bother me as much as it does tbh.

The Stinky Guy (guy with BO and incontinence who literally smells like a portapotty after a 3-day festival in August, and yes the boss has talked to him about it but he no care so we're stuck trying to eat lunch in a breakroom that smells like a portapotty, because the stench lingers when he leaves the room). Ugh.

The Competitive Broad. It's work, not a contest. Focus on your own damn job, bitch.

Well, my worst coworker - boss, actually - was someone I really think had a serious disorder. (Maybe even a personality disorder.) I'm NOT saying this dismissively. She'd yell at me for no reason, and I mean, she yelled. She had me crying and feeling like the worst person ever for things that are not normal to feel bad for. Or she would claim she told me something we never talked about, or the opposite of what she'd told me. Then twenty minutes later she'd be laughing and joking as though nothing had happened.

There were also non-hostile things she did that were just... out of the norm.

I was glad to see her leave, but I was also concerned about her because it was so obvious something was wrong. I hope she got help and is doing better.

Oh I have a co-worker like that. We're all convinced she has BPD.

She's fucking amazing to work with when she's in a good mood, but she can go from good to DID YOU JUST ACCUSE ME OF POISONING YOUR CHILD??? paranoia/rage in like 60 seconds.

You never know what you're going to walk into.

She's been taken to HR several times over the way she treats others but I'm guessing there IS some medical reason or she would have been fired some time in the last 30 years...

The aggressive snot sucker.

The one who doesn't care what you have on your plate or what the office procedures are, you need to fix their problem now now now.

The person who keeps leaving their nasty goddamn dishes to soak in the sink for two weeks despite like fifty signs explicitly requesting people to not do that.

We have two ice cream scoops, a spoon, and a now actually starting to rust Big Knife that have all been in our sink since I started here, early last November. Also half a wet paper towel.

They appear to have been joined by some plastic cutlery, now.

Sucking on sunflower seeds.

I had a coworker who lied about me to my face, claiming I said stuff I never said.
I had another one who made disgusting slurping sounds when he ate, no matter what he was eating, and he ate a lot at work. He could have gotten work doing sound effects for zombie movies.

The coworker who always needs time off for one thing or another. Look, if you're barely working 10 hours a week to start with and you keep asking for time off, why are you even here? The rest of us (who are actually reliable and almost never ask for time off) would sure like to pick up those hours.

The one who was told that he had to start working his full shift and thought he should get a raise for that.

The one who always comes in sick and coughs on everyone, ensuring that whatever hell virus he's picked up is going to spread through the whole office (we have paid sick leave for a reason).

The one who might be part goldfish, because he asks the same damn questions about how to do simple tasks every week.

Worst would have to be the guy I was literally afraid would kill me, at one point.

I also had a supervisor who would take out her issues with her boyfriend on me.

On the petty level, there was one guy who, when we were all supposed to shelve a cart full of books, grabbed an empty cart. Our supervisor described him as "staring at it like he expected it to grow books."

There was also the smelly guy, asscrack guy (who if you complained about his wearing pants that loose/low, would ask you why you were looking), and this one guy whose fuckups I'm constantly being asked to correct because my supervisor doesn't trust him not to fuck them up worse if she gives them back to him.

And today, when I was trying to work on my writing at work (laptop on, earbuds in) one of my co-workers came in and wanted to have a conversation, and I'm too polite to just put the earbuds in and carry on.
