The pettier the reasons for hating, the better.

Scott from Teen Wolf because he is boring and a jerk.

Jonathan from Stranger Things because he looks like a young Norman Reedus with a drug problem (which...well).

Darcy because she is everywhere in fanfic and the second movie turned her up to 11.

I really did not like Angel on Buffy because David Boreanaz always looked like his head was too small for his body. Maybe because he was always lurking about?

Daenerys because her storyline is so boring compared to everyone else's. How they made the person with dragons boring, I do not know.

Seconding Angel. I found him boring (that long-ago secret calling him David Boring-anus was mine) and petty.

How you feel about Daenerys is how I feel about Jon. He's boring, his story is boring, I've never been interested in him.

I've always preferred Angelus to Angel, though I do like Angel somewhat. Angelus was deliciously evil though.

Agreed about Angel on Buffy, but once he got his own show he got a lot more interesting/human

Katara from ATLA. I hated her the minute she started ranting about sexism in the first episode because it was anachronistic (which is the pettiest reason because technically it isn't anachronistic; it's not set in the real world) and the most annoyingly unsubtle way to establish her as a Strong Woman.

I just started Lost Sphear, and I’m already hoping the kid with the crossbow meets a fiery death. This doofus is not mentally or emotionally mature enough to attend kindergarten, let alone fight in life-or-death situations.

Bones

I hate pretty much any character that narratives try to force you into loving without giving any real reason to. Luna from FFXV is a good example. She was barely a character at all, and then Chapter 12 comes around and tries to bludgeon you with sadness so you Care, and it just falls completely flat. And her stans are fucking ridiculous, which just puts me further off her.

Lori from TWD. Just. Fucking Lori. Ugh.

Ted Mosby. Always and forever Ted Mosby. Also Xander Harris. Rewatching Buffy right now, and his pettiness and double standards towards Angel (vs. Anya) never go away and piss me off so much. And the season 1 final where he's angry that Buffy doesn't like him back like she's required to. And we're supposed to think he's an okay guy because he saves her life later. Uh, nope. Doesn't make the earlier crap okay.

For petty reasons, I hated Emma on Once Upon a Time because the actress was the same one who played Cameron, a character I hated on House.

Ted Mosby, JD, Ross Geller

Booth from Bones, 'cause he was so goddamn smarmy that I just wanted to punch him right in his smug face every time he was on screen. I especially hated his relationship with Brennan, and am very glad that I quit watching mid-season 1 so I didn't have to see that whole shitstorm.

Harm from JAG for pretty much the same reasons as Booth. Mac should've stayed with that spy dude.

Every single character in the movie As Good as it Gets, but especially Jack Nicholson's character, who was sort of like House if House didn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

There are a lot of female characters I guess could fit into that, but I can't hate the characters themselves; I usually just hate the men who wrote them. Usually from animated media though.

And DC fans would hate me, but I just really don't like any variation of Robin ever. He's so annoying to me.

I don't really hate any character who isn't supposed to be hated though. The worst they'd do is just annoy me.

Oliver Queen. He's generally a dick and doesn't listen to anyone.
