I watched a handful of episodes, but I have to say I sort of agree with the people who say he's miscast. Not horribly, he's a pretty good actor and there were scenes that worked. But he doesn't quite fit for me. I don't quite buy him as the dad or a lawyer (if it had been stepdad and politician, I think it would have worked better). (I watched one episode of True Blood so that's not it.)

I always bought him as the suit, but it really took until he, Andy and Marcos stole the hard drives in that one episode to really buy him as the dad. But once I did? I was all in.

I was a True Blood fan but I really like him in this. At the start he was definitely less dadly, but that was part of his character growth.
