Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
What do you mostly eat?

The meat secret made me think, most meat is okay.

Bread is weird. Probably going to make you sick.

Fruit is good.

Eggs?

I eat a lot of the same meals over and over. So baked chicken with mac and cheese and some vegetable. Cube steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Chicken bog/Perlo.

A lot of onions. Protein wise, mostly chicken or seafood, some legumes, and some beef. Actually pretty high on veggies in general. And I eat a lot of fruit. Also I eat a lot of junk. Popcorn is my go-to snack (the only-salted, no butter kind). But sweet things are my weakness. That's why I try to eat fruit. But I still eat ice cream and other such things.

...bread is weird?
What kind of bread are you eating?

yeah, what's so weird about bread?

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
da

Bleached flour and yeast. That's weird. Sometimes you get lucky and get a nice seedy nutty oaty bread, but you can't eat too much or it sucks for your teeth.

Brush and floss.

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Brushing and flossing won't help nutritional deficiencies.

You have weird bread issues.

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
It's not like bread sucks the nutrients out of your teeth...

Uh, how does "a nice seedy nutty oaty bread" lead to malnutrition? Does FS have a bread troll now? WTF?

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 12:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't say just eating bread leads to malnutrition. I said that eating too much of it will.

I'm sorry you consider anyone you don't agree with a troll.

"Malnutrition" is really, really not the word you're looking for here - it doesn't make any sense.

News to me. I eat bread every day and I'm in my mid-thirties with zero cavities.

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 01:01 pm (UTC)(link)
You eat an entire loaf of 100% whole grain bread with seeds and nuts every day and you don't experience a single issue? You must tell me who you're descended from.

Re: Food

(Anonymous) 2018-02-02 01:05 pm (UTC)(link)
DA but...
where did ayrt say anything about an entire loaf?
I mean, if that's what you do, eating entire loaves of bread each day, no wonder you have issues.

Beans and grains. I really, really need to eat more vegetables and fruit.

Entirely too much sugar and bread. Oh, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

I'm mostly vegetarian with fish maybe once or twice a month. Even back when I ate non-fish meat, I never was huge into it, except for maybe chicken. These days I pretty much am content with eggs, or bean-based dishes. I admit I occasionally get those soy/whatever "fake" meats for vegetarians, they are pretty tasty, but then again I haven't had real meat in over a decade.

I love bread though. Not like cheap dollar loaves, but something freshly baked in-store.

I love bread but I'm from a country with a huge variety of different types of bread so there are lots of options.

For meat, I don't eat baby animals or mutton in general and I can't eat offal- just the thought makes me queasy. I like chicken and beef the most, not overly thrilled about pork most of the time.

Not too fond of fish and seafood but I like salmon.

I eat noodles of various kinds quite often. I also like most vegetables and fruits.
Milk, yoghurt and cheese are nice.

I'm not a fan of eggs except when used for baking.

I have a weakness for nuts, especially roasted and salted.
