I watched the show once or twice about two years ago - what happened?

Not ENTIRELY sure because I watch it only sporadically, but they went from 2 longer episodes to 4 shorter ones. More ad revenue that way. I think they also changed their cameras/lighting/etc.

I thought their show seemed like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel a little bit - and while they have a good dynamic and it's nice to see two guys who are clearly close friends chat about random stuff, they also aren't quite funny enough to make unscripted banter particularly entertaining, to me, anyway.

That being said, I think they are much better at skit comedy. They have a few awesome ones.

Never seen it, don't really know what it is, but saw some people crushing on the dude on the left & it's kinda creepy for me because he strongly reminds me of one of my bosses (looks only, don't know anything about him).

My mate who normally has pretty good taste has been trying to get me into these lads, and I just don't see the attraction. The ultimate at just being on the edge of possibly being funny light hearted unscripted banter.

Yeah, in theory it shouldn't be all that different, but I don't really like it either. I think having the delineated segments and varying-degrees-of-celebrity guests more often makes it feel less spontaneous -- less home-grown -- or something. Plus I think I'm growing out of Will-Its and Taste Test gimmicks.

i had to stop watching not because of the format but because rhett's determination to shine through as a sanctimonious douchebag who wishes violence on cats and then provokes his fans who don't like his comments drove me away asap.

isn't it like a radio-ish talk show still? tho yeah, i stopped watching them a couple of years ago bc the topics just got weird ^^;
