Sure, there's always cycles. But it used to be that we'd be going back and forth between 500 comments a day and 800 comments a day. Now it's more like 250 and 350.

Tbh, comments took a real hit when case started IP logging all the time. It's sad, because it hasn't stopped the trolls but it drove a lot of activity away.

I think there were a lot of causes. And, I mean, long-term, the constant awful trolling wouldn't have been good for things, either.

Oh, absolutely. But I was there in those days and there was already a very obvious, significant drop in comments whenever the IP logging was turned on.

Yeah in general I've not been coming here as much cause of the trolling, and certain other gripes with the community atmosphere (nothing big but I just feel like maybe I don't fit in here? Idk)
