Yup, exactly. Plus - what anon said above. He's on edge, he's been a prisoner and tortured for months - a year? To the point of almost dying probably multiple times. Plus - he's obviously a being that lives a bit more on the 'wild' side, as it were, hunting and killing for food. So...yeah, it would suck, and I would be in tears but.....

Really not something to base a 'this being is bad/evil/never to be forgiven' on.
