I love that song. Man, I know Green Day is too popular to be cool, but they were (are???) so amazing. The Broadway adaptation of American Idiot is fantastic, too.

The first thing I thought of was the first labyrinth song from Etrian Odyssey IV. Maybe quiet isn't the right word I'd use for it, but it's very gentle.

when I need quiet and gentle, I go to some super old "new age" instrumentals from the 80s and 90s. Ray Lynch, David Lanz, David Arkenstone, etc. They all have youtube channels.
