133. Aha, yeah, I can totally kind of relate. The fact is, no one is ever going to be completely satisfied with your portrayal. If you right people as reasonably flawed, you're going to get bitched out. But if you make them peerless paragons of strength and integrity, then they...either become Sues, or just not characters at all.

Basically, you've just gotta bite the bullet, and go where your writing takes you. People are going to insinuate that you're a misogynist, yeah, or just that the character is a total BITCHFACE OMG HOW COULD SHE!?!?!?!?! But you know the truth. At least some of your readers will get it. And that's enough.

Or, at least, that's what I've been telling myself. 8D

Lujei does have a certain... je ne sais quoi, doesn't she? I think it might because if she's ever shown from the front, she'd probably be flashing her naughty bits.

However, the whole 'psycho ghost' thing kind of puts a damper on things.

What can I say? I'm just a sucker for morally gray women. ...The naughty bits don't hurt, either, I will admit.

Maybe it's just me, but going on about smooth, pale skin and a slender body like an "ivory doll" does not inspire much faith in her heterosexuality. Broad shoulders do nothing for her, eh?

That's a slight understatement. Aha, no, I meant Opalneira. Some of the qualities she listed off as things she loved about Chartreuse just...didn't sound exactly like something one looks for in a man.

But, again. Maybe it's just me. I think my subtext goggles are on pretty tight because of the already canon lesbianism.

True. But the way she talks to Opalneria and Lillet sort of suggests that she wouldn't be entirely opposed to experimenting. Or that she's simply bi.
