Id almost forgotten about those hideous things. They make him look beige, lol.

Thor's eyebrows/beard and their dye jobs are definitely the worst but I've also never got (mostly tumblr/some LJ) fandom's obsession with Loki's eyebrows in the same film. I mean it sometimes feels like it's all anyone talks about even though they look over dyed (unnaturally black) and waaay over plucked to me. I don't think the virtually non-existent eyebrows (compared to his hair) he's sporting in Avengers are any better but the eyebrow game for the both of them in 'Thor' is better left in 2011 imo.

(In terms of hair though, the 2011 hair do is best for Loki and for Thor I actually like the short Ragnarok hair best! I don't care that the last one is almost fandom sacrilege.)

I think the same thing about their hair!

I honestly can't even remember what Loki's eyebrows even look like but then I literally never pay attention to eyebrows anyway.

I felt Thor's beard was the worst part tbh, way too light and did not go well.

I do mourn TDW longer hair but the short hair grew on me by the end of the movie so I can roll with it.

I agree about the hair for both.

I really didn't notice it until I saw pictures of Hemsworth (as himself, obv) (I had no idea who he was til Thor) for the first time. THEN I noticed it, lol.

I didn't notice the eyebrows - I guess I assumed he just had vaguely weird eyebrows - but I hated the way the cape is stiff and held away from the body at the shoulders. I'm sure that's trying to replicate a look from the comics (or just give him more imposing shoulders) but it looked ridiculous. Does it still do that? My impression is that they've slowly toned down the cape thing from movie to movie. I don't remember noticing the weird cape thing in Ragnarok at all, but he spent a lot of that movie with the cape half torn off.

People complain about dyed eyebrows, but then people complain when eyebrows aren't dyed and hair is. I've seen both dark and light eyebrows on natural blondes, so I have no version of either. Also, Chris Hemsworth is always hot. Always.

MTE, I think matching eyebrows are what I'd rather have. I never noticed them looking weird at all.

Saaame. Everything is off about his hair color in the first Thor- it's too light and it looks bad with his skintone. I remember the first time I saw a picture of him as Thor I thought he look less like a god and more like a country singer from the 80's.

Awww, I've always liked his bleached eyebrows and beard in Thor 1. It looks slightly unnatural (though there's plenty of natural blonds with that color of eyebrows), but imo that adds to the slightly weird otherwordly godlike vibe. Like, no he doesn't have brown eyebrows like a regular ol' person, he's got GOLDEN MAGNIFICENT BROWS.

I admit that they look odd but I liked them on the character when I first saw the film and had no idea who was playing him. The reason for that is I've seen those light eyebrows on several blond Scandinavian friends, and while they look no less weird on real people, they just seemed to make sense for Thor.

Hemsworth's natural brows look best on him though.

I don't understand the objection? They look completely normal to me. Lots of people have that colour eyebrows naturally if they are blond.
