YUUUUP

It probably wouldn't have been so bad if it was revealed earlier and when the cave elves things were more relevant as a threat. But three years and 100+ pages of build up for "cute monster girl of those monsters from the first chapter"....

Personally, I was hoping for a like a drath/demon pocked thing. Something really crazy looking. But alas.
