(Anonymous) 2018-02-10 01:44 am (UTC)(link)It's supposed to be so ~touching~ but to me it just feels like they're checking off boxes of cliches. Like, it has all the "right" things, it just doesn't really resonate for me. I just didn't find myself caring about any of the characters, even though in theory I should've. It's just...hollow. I'm not quite sure how else to explain it, honestly. Emotional manipulation maybe? IDK, something about it was just...off, for me.
