I rolled my eyes when this came up. I respect Oprah as a business woman and all but I am really sick of people throwing around "oh he or she should be president" just because of a speech or a particular stance someone has. Being president is a job, and I want someone qualified for the role, which means someone who has been in some other political office and understands how the government works.

Even the most generous reading of Trump ever suggests that some of his 'gaffs' were from not understanding that you don't say or do certain things and you do other things. That's shit most senators and governors know. I'm sick of the presidency being a popularity contest. I want someone who knows the issues, not someone who looks nice and speaks well. Just because you like someone doesn't make them qualified for to be president.
