Probably because the archive warnings are subjective to a certain extent (like how graphic can violence be before it counts as graphic violence? does it count as major character death if it's a time loop fic and they get better by the end of the fic?) and rather than potentially upsetting people or spending way too long deliberating whether or not there really is "nothing to warn for," some people sidestep the issue by choosing not to warn.

I guess I just don't agonize over warnings much in my fic.

I just feel like at that point you're giving into the idea that people aren't responsible for their own caution about what they read if they have a big squick or trigger that falls outside of the major categories or is sensitive to subjective differences.
