Jesus, what is with you people? You're objecting to stuff that is so damn normal even a lot fic writers invite people to do it.

Op, it's totally normal for readers to ask an author for more info about what happens in their fic before there, arent clear tags. I do it all the time.

No, this is nowhere near normal. I've been posting since 2006 (right under hundred fics now) and this has happened to me exactly once. And the person was damned rude too.

I've been in fandom since the 90s and never once have I asked an author about what was in their fics nor have I ever had anyone ask me about the contents of mine.
