For me it's Persuasion, but the sentiment's the same!

I also (unpopular opinion) do not like Jennifer Ehle's take on the character. I don't think Keira is better, though, and I certainly don't want ANOTHER remake to see if they can finally get the character right.

Have you tried the 1980 BBC miniseries? I think Elizabeth and Darcy are closer to the book characters in that one.
