Not OP but I feel similar & for me, it's not that the ships are fucked up or have power imbalances. I can get with power imbalances. The problem is that the ships turn all the Buffy characters into dumb dickheads that I don't really like. Not wrong, just.... bluhhhhhhhhhh

I've never read fic in this fandom, but got DAMN James Marsters is hot. Like sometimes I forget how hot he is and then see a pic of him and feel totally blindsided.
